Drew loved the hammer Great Grandmother Bebe gave him for Christmas Posted by Hello

Babies don't share but they sure are cute. Says the Gramma. Posted by Hello

All four of us went to Buppo's (well something like that) for lunch. Gramma went too. You think we look happy but we are getting ready to fight over the truck. We don't understand sharing. Posted by Hello

Sometimes Mama and Jenny had to stop to give us milk and cheerios. We liked to run wild. Posted by Hello

We got to pat the fish and make faces at them. The Aquarium is lots of fun for toddlers. Posted by Hello

Mama took me to the Academy of Science in San Francisco to look at the fish. We took Owen and Jenny too. Posted by Hello

Drew Eliason with Santa Posted by Hello

A Dog's Tail

The small critter, the one they call Drew, finally did it. He went in the car, when I clearly heard the word "Walk?" addressed to me. His gramma, otherwise known as MY Ginny, told me that they were going to some place called the Farm, where I would not be allowed. So off they went in a glorious sunshiney day, and I moped at home.
But I got even. Ginny was watching Drew in the front yard and I ran away from home, all the way out of the court and down the street. I took my own sweet time coming back, too. Of course I expected her to chase me, but she couldn't do that with the baby in tow.
Drew calls me Dahg, and tries to poke my eyes out. We are working up to a confrontation over animal crackers, which strongly resemble my dog biscuits. I received a lovely biscuit jar for Christmas. It says "Even bad dogs deserve treats". Of course we know I am no bad dog.
I heard that today Drew went to the library and actually went inside, something they never let me do. He screams much more than I bark. So I tried to wake him up from his nap. And he is working on pulling my tail.

Small critter returns

This is Homer, the Hess family dog signing in again. The small critter has returned. And they took him to see Santa yesterday, waiting in line at Stanford Shopping Center for over an hour. Last year the elders took me to Petco for my own photo with Santa. This year nothing. They told me there was a small white pseudopoodle behind them in line. The critter, whom they call Drew, leaves toys all over the floor and tries to poke me in the eye. Sometimes I have to leap into Virginia's arms to escape him.

Dog Days of Winter

This is from Homer again. Fortunately the small critter left. Unfortunately Virginia is missing Drew and big Drew and she insists on playing with me. Yesterday she put Big Drew's stocking cap on my head. And she found the jingle bell collar and now the birds hear me coming. My diet has returned to normal, so I haven't had to resort to socially unacceptable behaviour in order to get attention. And I sleep in the exact middle of the bed. On the weekend I slept on Joe's pillow. Christmas is coming, and I intend to refuse to wear a reindeer hat. I am afraid that the critter--Drew-- is coming back. Princess Mary is taking finals right now. Joe left for Calgary on business, but not before buying me a burger at In and Out. And Jon (aka Big D) is still in Prague. I miss the walks he took me on.
